The importance of bank sector in the economic system of the state, reasons of origin of bank crises, their theoretical principles, signs and classifications, main methods of their forming have been elucidated, and also ways of the overcoming of these crises in the processes of globalizational economy have been outlined. Important is application of historical system-structural and system-functional methods of research during the study of reasons of the origin of bank crises in the period of the last two ages.
