The analysis of the state and tendencies of activity of small enterprises at the regional market of services (on the example of the Transcarpathian region), features of forming of effective small business in the conditions of market transformations of economy of region is carried out. The features of estimation of economic and social efficiency of small enterprises are certain at the regional market of services. Contradictions in activity of small enterprises on the basis of the got results of estimation of indexes of efficiency are exposed.
