Resume

The influence of agricultural reform on the efficiency of agricultural production in Chernivtsi region and the reasons for reduced production are considered. Supply of land, redistribution and efficiency of agricultural land use are analyzed. The reasons for low efficiency of agricultural land use, including the deterioration of fertility, land degradation and lack of fertilizers are outlined. Some measures for land use efficiency improving are suggested.
