Functional features of bank institutions in the financial system of Ukraine have been studied. The financial system according to after the inner composition and organizational structure has been considered. Activity of bank institutions at the credit, currency and fund markets has been elucidated. Definite perspective trends of activity of banks at the financial market have been determined.
