The analysis of international ecological policy which will be realized within the framework of Kyoto Protocol has been carried out. Estimation of benefits and risks, associated with participation of Ukraine in the project of the United Nations, introduction of which is foreseen on the basis of the «Guidelines for effective practice on land tenure, changes in land tenure and forestry», prepared by the Intergovernmental Group of Experts of the United Nations on Climate Change has been done. Suggestions in relation to the improvement of international and national ecological policy have been put forward.
