Theoretical-methodical principles of state economic security research are improved with application of synergistic approach. Concept of threats and challenges to national economic security is substantiated, author’s definitions are offered. Classification of threats and challenges to state economic security by the range of indices is carried out. The chart of state economic security system with the exploitation of main provisions of synergistic approach is developed; the mechanism of its action is described. Optimal scenarios of the national economic security system development are presented. Special attention is paid to the fact that the basic factor in economic security development in modern terms is the innovative one. The importance of the well-balanced development of state national security constituents for its effective functioning is stressed.
