Main results of scientific and organizational activity of the Institute of Regional Research of the NAS of Ukraine during 2006-2010 are shortly presented. Theoretical achievements of the scientists are shown and the summary of research results’ practical application is outlined. The most important achievements in scientific and organizational activity, tractates publishing and international relations development are presented. Priority tasks for the future scientific and organizational activity of the Institute are specified.
