Resume

The article offers a new view on the components of the intellectual capital, i.e. the knowledge assets, and identifies the necessity of their assessment at the regional level via realization of certain mechanisms and evaluation of indicators, which might become the basis of the development of the regional policy of such assets management with the aim of realization of the complex strategies of regional development. The article represents a range of new concepts of the intellectual capital at the firm level and their possible implementation at the regional level via effective management of the knowledge assets dynamics.
