Resume

Analysis of the development of rural territories in the Carpathian region of Ukraine from the perspective of foreign trade activity is conducted. The structure, volumes and peculiarities of export-import flows of agricultural products and food-stuffs of the region’s administrative units are researched. Main national and specific to the Carpathian region obstacles, that blocking the development of foreign economic activity of business entities that located on rural territories are outlined. Puts more emphasis on necessity of activization of export activity on rural territories in the field of agro-industrial production and non-agricultural goods and services.
