ResumeOn the basis of generalization of various theoretical approaches and structures was proved that localized economic systems is an important prerequisite for the formation of the new economy that is characterized by the internationalization of production, localization of multinational corporations and, accordingly, international production networks with the advantages of innovation and decentralized concentration. The infuence of spatial aspects of localized economies is studied as factor of “proximity” not only for geographical, but also organizational, institutional, “organized”, technological etc. Geographical proximity, which is primarily related to the concept of distance, is activated by economic or social subjects; by itself is not a factor of coordination rather need to be activated by organizational and institutional proximity. Organized proximity is also certain potential, which if necessary can be mobilized; relates to the ways in which actors can be friends regardless of geographical distance. It was established that the concentration (agglomeration) of innovative activity in cities does not necessarily imply for a system of local interaction: cities can be seen as communication nodesby facilitating coordination even with temporary geographical proximity. Prospects of development of localized economies based on opportunities of glocal approach to application management are defned.
