The influence of tourism on an environment is determined and the basic groups of factors that promote the development of tourism industry in a region are defined. The ways of achievement of tourist industry functioning efficiency are determined in context of development the «green economy». Special attention is spared to the national natural parks, biosphere reserves, development of ecological (green) and rural tourism.
