In the real economic systems, along with the factors of production performance evaluation, it is necessary to use the integrated performance indicator, which may be a level of profitability. The study aims to determine the most appropriate type of profitability for assessing the economic efficiency of logistics systems and calculate its index on the example of a representative group of companies, which reflects the logistics system in the grain productive sub-complex of the AIC of Ukraine.
International practice of comparing the efficiency of logistics systems was considered and place of Ukraine by logistics performance index (LPI) among the countries was determined. According to the logistics performance index Ukraine in 2014 took the 61st place among 160 countries. The development of logistics in our country is characterized by progressive dynamics and on-time delivery of goods is the most developed component of the national logistics system, and the least developed is the quality of trade and transport infrastructures.
Configuration of regional logistics systems in the grain productive subcomplex of AIC of Ukraine was considered and their structural and functional characteristics were presented. The most vividly, in our opinion, the logistics system is represented by the JSC «SFGCU» which is a vertically integrated national operator that provides virtually all logistical functions and owns 10% of elevator capacity of Ukraine, exports through its own port infrastructure 12% of grain and generates 15% of domestic flour, cereals and animal feed supply.
Various indicators were characterized and the choice of operating profitability as an integrated performance indicator of the logistics system for the grain productive sub-complex AIC enterprises was grounded. The fact that offered integrated parameter allows to remove the investment and financial activities of branches from the assess orbit, while focusing on the implementation of logistics functions related to the transfer and modification of grain flow, was defined. The tendencies of changes in profitability factors of the grain market in Ukraine were outlined, as well as the integral index of efficiency of the logistics system in a representative group of enterprises – JSC «SFGCU» was calculated. Profitability of the operating corporation is quite high and is characterized by a growing trend.
Reducing the world and therefore domestic grain prices during the research period did not affect the logistical component in the grain cost, however, showed the sensitivity to the price fluctuations of agricultural enterprises, where the profitability of grain production for the period decreased significantly. This situation reinforces the confrontation between the spheres of AIC, the result of which may cause the reducing of raw materials parameters and the corresponding deterioration of the logistic system operating parameters in the grain productive sub-complex of AIC of Ukraine.Рубрика: Розвиток сільських територій

The development of grain production in Ukraine is based on favorable natural, economic and geopolitical preconditions and ensures the development of other related industries, and the global trends in the food market contribute to the deepening of international specialization and creation of currency proceeds from exports of grain. Creation of grain reserves in the grain subcomplex agroindustrial complex is a natural process of seasonal production. Objectively accepting this reality, problem lies in the lack of quantitative and qualitative provision of subcomplex of grain storages and disproportion of their spatial localization in regions. For this organizational structure and management system of subordination of structural elements at the national level were defined as well as business of grain storage according to the legislation of Ukraine. Statistical performance of distribution of grain storages of certified facilities in Ukraine and Lviv region were represented and share in the national system of grain storage was defined. Attention is focused on primitiveness of outdated technologies in many grain storage elevators, causing significant losses and the high cost of storage. The article outlines the feasibility of using logistic approach to management of material flows in the grain market and grounded the use of technological systems of inventory management. The most common technological inventory management system and the corresponding parameters used in logistics are considered. This are inventory control system with a fixed size of the order, with a fixed frequency order, the system with established periodicity of restocking to specified range, and systems of “maximum - minimum“ and operational management. The analysis of approaches to finding locations of elevators in the region and the rational system of grain storage is performed. The main methods used in this are: method of exhaustive search, a heuristic method, method of determining the center of gravity and method of test points. The most attractive area for construction of elevator systems in terms of Lviv oblast and place of localization of grain storages capacities is determined taking into account the limits of the centers of gravity of material flows based on the selected method. 

Grains and export them - stable source of foreign currency, which can provide positive Ukraine’s GDP due to the magnitude of the export potential of local grain crops. However, we must adopt appropriate rules and introduce modern efficient mechanisms of trade that will allow for Ukraine to integrate fully into the global grain market and hope, nowhere in the dominant position soon. In the article the problem of grain producers and limited opportunities to obtain market prices of its sales is analyzed. Considered successful experience of the world of electronic trading systems and reasonable prospects of introduction of electronic trading exchange in Ukraine and measures for their implementation. Attention is focused on the importance of futures trading in the future, and structural and functional maintenance of price risk management in the grain market of Ukraine.
