The pressing questions of optimization of territorial organization of general educational establishments are considered in the Lviv region. Two variants of development of events are considered. In first case foreseen a maintainance of incomplete educational establishments as the last social and culture centre of village. In second case – the variant of closing of educational establishments and organization of transport to supporting schools is considered. The necessary amount of financial resources for realization of both variants is analyzed. The positive and negative sides of every direction of development of events from the improvement of territorial organization of general educational establishments are presented.

Analytical estimation of socio-economic consequences of Ukrainian family transformations, which emerged foremost as the activation of such public phenomenon as acculturation, is carried out. Influence of acculturation on dynamics of marriage and divorce indices, natural reproduction of population, family composition and amount of family members is outlined. The necessity of realization of the range of measures directed at strengthening of bases of Ukrainian family is substantiated.

The basic factors of the forming of demographic losses risk of the Lviv region in the territorial aspect have been determined. Comparison of indicators of natural and mechanical demographic losses in urban settlements and rural locality during 1990-2007 has been carried out. The methods of estimation of risk of demographic losses are outlined. Advantages of statistical method of quantitative estimation of risk of demographic losses have been substantiated. The quantitative estimation of demographic losses risk of the region in the cut of administrative-territorial districts has been carried out. The prognosis sizes of the distributing of levels of demographic losses risk within the Lviv region have been offered.
