The outcome of the investigation of Lviv region machine-building enterprises diagnostic systems’ main features, characteristics, problems and results is highlighted. The level of enterprise diagnostic systems’ complexity and fundamentality is determined; the priority of diagnostics’ direction is determined; the sources of informational support of machine-building enterprises’ activity diagnostics are characterized; the priority of diagnostic functions on the enterprise is outlined; the instruments that are used with the diagnostic purposes are characterized; the main goals of the diagnostics on different levels are presented; the key problems and the results of usage of diagnostics on the machine-building enterprise are identified etc.
